Kimberly Ann Leach was a 12 year old girl who was abducted from her school in Lake City Florida. Attending school with students and teachers Bundy took Leach from her school premises. Leach was at a low risk of victimization until Bundy used his deception to draw Leach away, probably using a “story” about one of her parents that would draw most 12 year old girls away from safety. Leach’s communication with this stranger and her acceptance of his words, tragically, placed her at a high level of risk.
